Telling a Story

Every day I and my aunt go for a walk. During that time we discuss many things, and discuss almost all the topics. From politics to literature, world affairs, building construction, kings, temples, religion, Sufism, Prophets, Awliyahs, research, etc. Sometimes debate would start on a particular topic and she would give a fierce speech on the main road. Most of the time she will tell the stories of the novels she has read. She is a voracious reader. We both read novels but she has the upper hand in reading. Like I told you earlier she will tell stories every day and I will be listening. I will never the stories of the novels I have read because I feel shy of telling the stories. She will constantly be asking what I have read, but I will be like I have yet to listen to what she said. Then one day she forced me to tell the story of the novel For Elise. I didn't have any other option than to tell her the story. I put aside my shyness a little bit and started telling the story, but half forgetting, mixing the beginning and the end like that. In the end, I finished the story and it was a good experience. For Elise will always remain in my heart. It is a beautiful novel. When she will read it herself which she said she will do soon, she will find out that I have engulfed half of the story. On my part it was a good experience, coming out of my comfort zone and telling the story. We still discuss many things. She is still telling me stories of the novels, but I don't know when will I have the guts to tell a story again.
